Launch pricing
The launch market cap
Every launch starts at a launch market cap set by ElysiumPad for each pair token and stated in that token:
| Pair token | Launch market cap | |
|---|---|---|
| HYPE | 33.5 HYPE | live |
| USDC | 3,000 USDC | USDC launches are not open yet |
Every new launch uses the current value until ElysiumPad changes it. A change only affects launches made after it; existing tokens keep their pools.
There's no price oracle. Launch prices don't depend on any pool or price feed, so nobody can manipulate a launch by moving a market first. The Create page shows the launch market cap and its current dollar value.
How the price moves
The pool holds the whole supply above the launch price and behaves like a constant-product curve (x · y = k):
| Share of supply bought | Market cap |
|---|---|
| 0% | 1× (launch) |
| 50% | about 4× |
| 75% | about 16× |
| 90% | about 100× |
Selling moves the price back down the same curve. Price can never fall below the launch market cap, because there's no liquidity below it.
