Fees
Every swap pays the pool's fee. Most of it goes to the pool's liquidity providers. A small protocol fee goes to ElysiumSwap.
| Pool | Swap fee | Liquidity providers | Protocol |
|---|---|---|---|
| v2 | 0.3% | 0.25% | 0.05% (1/6 of the fee) |
| v3, 0.05% tier | 0.05% | 5/6 of the fee | 1/6 of the fee |
| v3, 0.3% tier | 0.3% | 5/6 of the fee | 1/6 of the fee |
| v3, 1% tier | 1% | 5/6 of the fee | 1/6 of the fee |
| ElysiumPad launch pools (v3, 1%) | 1% | all of it, to the creator and ElysiumPad (details) | none |
How the protocol fee works
- v2. The protocol fee is on for every pair. It's paid as new LP tokens to the protocol fee wallet whenever someone adds or removes liquidity.
- v3. The protocol fee is set pool by pool. ElysiumSwap turns it on for new pools after they are created, so for a short time a new pool pays all of its fee to its LPs.
- ElysiumPad pools are excluded: their fees belong to the token's creator and ElysiumPad.
The protocol fee wallet is the ElysiumSwap owner address listed on the Contracts page.
Routing fee
Trades routed through other DEXes' pools pay a 0.1% routing fee on top of the pools' fees. It goes to the treasury, which adds it to ElysiumSwap's pools as liquidity. See Routing across DEXes.
Gas
Every transaction also pays Elysium gas in HYPE. It's usually a small fraction of a cent.
